Gifts of Hope Campaign Case for Support:
In the summer of 2024, our Finance Sub-Committee, recommended to our Leadership Board, that we begin a capital campaign to fund the continued upkeep and repair work that needs to be completed on our beloved church building. The chart included shows the major maintenance and repairs we have identified and the quotes we have received. These are considerable and necessary, and so we are launching a 5 year campaign to raise $500,000. Some of these repairs are immediate needs, others need to be scheduled in the near future.

Naming opportunities for endowment funds may be offered for donor recognition and stewardship purposes. Should the donor be unable to fulfill the entire pledge commitment, the Leadership Board reserves the right for the removal of a donor’s name. In the event of fulfillment default or in the unlikely event the Leadership Board determines in its reasonable and good faith opinion that circumstances have changed such that the use of the name or a continued association with the donor would adversely impact the reputation, image, mission, or integrity of the Broad Street United Methodist Church.  In either case, no portion of installments already made can be returned.
